We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team
Job description

  • Establish and maintain CRM. Building relationships with the aim of understanding customer’s needs and translating technical solutions to meet/exceed their expectations.
  • Advance the company strategy to grow and develop market share.
  • Professional conduct and ability to represent Fuchs to a high standard in terms of marketing and promoting the organization.
  • Good grasp of defence related systems and sub-systems, and how Fuchs’ offering fits into this arena for existing and development requirements.
  • Proven track record of closing deals.
  • Business development/ market development
  • Knowledge of military electronics and particular the ammunition systems environment (Navy, Air Force, Army
    (artillery/infantry))
  • Proposal Management – including costing within internal parameters
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, externally (MoD’s defence forces and defence industry/ establishment) and internally.

Required experience
  • International defence – related sales (a key requirement)
  • Marketing, in the related field as mentioned above
  • Applied electronics and particularly the defence related systems environment (Navy, Air Force, Army (artillery/
    infantry))
  • Proposal management.

Minimum requirements

  • Engineering/ Marketing/ Financial tertiary degree qualification
  • 10 -15 years’ experience in business development and customer relations
  • Experience in defence industry
  • 15 years’ experience in the electronic development industry
